WEBSTER GROVES, MO, June 16, 2022:  Webster Groves High School is pleased to announce that Leslie Crais will be the new Head Coach for Girls Cross Country for the fall 2022 season.  

Coach Crais moved to the St. Louis area last year from Memphis where she worked at Lausanne Collegiate School since 2008.  At Lausanne, she served as their Director of After School Programming and coached their cross country, track, and swim teams. She is also a certified personal trainer and a certified Nutrition Coach with NASM and a Certified Running Coach with RRCA.

WGHS Athletic Director Jerry Collins said, “We are very happy to have Coach Crais join our coaching staff.  She is very qualified for this role and has a positive personality that will connect with our student athletes.  ”

Coach Crais said, "I am excited to join Webster Groves as the new cross country coach and become part of the cross country family!  I am looking forward to sharing my passion for running and my love of fitness and health with the girls.  I am looking forward to meeting and building a relationship with the girls.  My hopes are that I can push them to be their best selves, find their strength, and see them grow not only as cross country runners but in life as well.”
